To mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Théodore Dubois and the 20th anniversary of the Vox Luminosa Vocal Ensemble, Festival Classica is delighted to offer a performance of
The Seven Words of Christ, an absolute masterpiece by the maestro in its ultimate version for choir, orchestra, and soloists. To complete the program, conductor and composer Claudel Callender will also present works by César Franck, including his famous
Panis Angelicus and
Psalm 150, Gabriel Fauré’s
Cantique de Jean Racine, along with a selection of original compositions by the conductor himself.
