Les goûts réunis, the emblematic title of a collection of works by the legendary François Couperin, embodies the attempt of Baroque composers to merge national styles. Known as “the Great,” Couperin was part of a renowned family of musicians. Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, an organist in Paris, and Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, an excellent composer and harpsichordist, composed cantatas known for their expressiveness, which will be performed by the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra. The ArtChoral Ensemble will present vocal works by the Bach family and the Italian master Giacomo Carissimi. Discover these harmoniously reunited musical tastes at their finest!
