For this second concert honouring French composer Claude Bolling, flutist Nadia Labrie will once again be joined by Jonathan Turgeon on piano, Dominic Girard on double bass, and Bernard Riche on drums. They will perform Suite no 2 pour flûte et trio piano jazz. Composed almost 10 years after Suite no 1, written in 1973, this work completed Claude Bolling’s crossover project that married jazz and classical music. This concert series will be recorded and is slated for release in 2023-2024.
